The Nutri Store Caterpillar fungus Cordyceps extract capsules is a dietary supplement with Cordyceps sinensis extract and vitamin E to support performance, each capsule contains 350 mg extract.

The caterpillar fungus Cordyceps sinensis is mainly found at an altitude of 3000 to 5000 metres in the damp mountain meadows of the Himalayas and other mountain ranges in Tibet and China. In China, the mushroom is called Dongchong Xiacao and has been valued as a healthy food for centuries.

Cordyceps is very rare and therefore extremely expensive. During the Ming Dynasty, it was more expensive than silver and reserved exclusively for emperors and rich aristocrats.

Today, the mushroom is cultivated on sterile culture media. The mushroom threads (mycelium) obtained contain the highest concentration of mushroom-specific ingredients. For the extract, the mushroom mycelium is dried, pulverised and then extracted with hot water. This enriches the water-soluble ingredients, in particular the mushroom-specific polysaccharides.

Each vegan capsule contains 350 mg cordyceps extract with a standardised polysaccharide content of 40 % as well as vitamin E, which supplements the mushroom extract in a meaningful way. Vitamin E helps to protect the cells from oxidative stress. Just a few capsules a day make a significant contribution to a healthy diet.

The raw material used to make the capsule shell is obtained from vegetable cellulose and is gelatine-free. Cordyceps caterpillar fungus extract capsules are a natural product. There may be variations in the colour of the capsules. This does not affect the quality of the product.

How to use

Take 2 capsules 2 to 3 times a day with sufficient liquid. The product should be taken over a longer period of time, experience has shown that this should be at least 2 months.
