SymbioLife® Cholesterol Control* is a dietary supplement containing the active bacterium Lactobacillus plantarum _LPLDL®and phytosterols, which contribute to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels*.

Cholesterol is a natural fat molecule and is important in the human body for the formation of cell membranes, hormones and bile acids. Bile acids are necessary for the digestion of fat. Cholesterol is divided into

• HDL ("good" cholesterol): "Excess" cholesterol is transported from the body back to the liver.
• LDL ("bad" cholesterol): Cholesterol is transported from the liver to the body.

Too much cholesterol (especially LDL cholesterol) in the blood can favour vasoconstriction (arteriosclerotic processes).

Regulating cholesterol levels naturally

• With the active bacterial strain Lactobacillus plantarum _LPLDL®
• Selected bacterial culture with 4 billion colony-forming units (CFU) per daily dose
• Phytosterols: 800 mg
• Well tolerated and for long-term use

*Phytosterols/phytostanols contribute to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. The positive effect is achieved with a daily intake of at least 0.8 g phytosterols/phytostanols.

Directions

• Take 2 tablets a day (preferably after the main meals) unchewed with a glass of water.
• Advice: The stated recommended daily intake must not be exceeded. The intake of more than 3 g/day of added plant sterols/plant stanols should be avoided. Not intended for people who do not need to control their blood cholesterol levels. Do not use food supplements as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle, including regular consumption of fruit and vegetables to maintain carotenoid levels. Should not be consumed by pregnant or breastfeeding women and children under 5 years of age. Keep out of the reach of young children.
