Suprasorb® P sensitive border is a sterile silicone foam dressing for the atraumatic management of acute and chronic wounds. Particularly suitable for sensitive skin. 

Suprasorb P sensitive is a silicone foam dressing specifically designed for sensitive^skin¹. Its multi-layered structure enables dynamic exudate management to maintain an optimal moist^{wound environment}². The silicone wound-contact layer minimises the risk of the dressing sticking to the wound and reduces pain during^{dressing changes³}. The outer protective film is waterproof, bacteria-repellent and, at the same time, vapour-permeable. 

Indications

For the management of the following wounds: 

• Acute and chronic
• Low to high exudate
• Superficial and deep (for deep wounds, use a tamponade as a primary dressing if necessary) 

Indications: 

• Pressure ulcers 
• Leg and foot ulcers 
• Traumatic wounds 
• Post-operative wounds 
• Skin fissures 

Stages of wound healing: 

• Exudation, granulation and epithelialisation phases 

Properties 

• The silicone wound contact layer is suitable for sensitive skin. 
• Minimises patient pain and trauma to the wounds and the surrounding skin when removing or repositioning the dressing. 
• Effective exudate management reduces the risk of maceration and maintains a moist wound environment. 
• Shower-proof. 
• Easy to apply with 2 or 3 peel-off protective films, preventing the adhesive layer from coming into contact with gloves. 
• High conformability, even in difficult-to-reach areas. 
• Gentle on the skin. 
• Can be used as part of a prophylactic treatment programme to prevent pressure ulcers. 
• Saves time due to longer dressing change intervals.

• Dressing size: 7.5 x 8.5 cm
• Wound pad size: 5 x 4.5 cm 

Directions for use 

1. Clean the wound using standard procedures, dry the skin around the wound thoroughly and remove the release film. 
2. Remove the remaining release liners and apply the adhesive side of the wound dressing to the wound.
