The Suprasorb® P sensitive border lite (without superabsorbent absorbent core) silicone foam dressing can be used for the treatment of all wounds, provided they are low to medium exuding and superficial to deep* wounds.
Suprasorb® P sensitive border lite consists of a silicone wound contact layer, an absorbent polyurethane foam, a non-woven distribution layer and a water vapour permeable and waterproof backing layer. The four-layer structure enables dynamic fluid management to create and maintain an optimal moist wound environment, which favours faster wound closure and can help to reduce the risk of maceration.
The soft silicone layer can be lifted and repositioned without losing its adhesive properties. This layer also helps to minimise patient pain and trauma to the wound and surrounding skin during dressing changes. The PU foam layer provides excellent absorption and traps exudate.

Application
Can be applied by laypersons under the supervision of specialised personnel. The product can be used under compression bandages.
Prepare the wound:
- Clean the wound according to existing clinical standards. Thoroughly dry the skin surrounding the wound.
Apply the dressing:
- The size of the dressing depends on the size of the wound. The wound pad should overlap the dry skin surrounding the wound by at least 1-2 cm.
- Remove the first protective film and apply the adhesive side to the wound.
- Remove the remaining protective film(s) and smooth the edge onto the skin. Do not pull the dressing apart. *If necessary, use a tamponade as the primary dressing for deep wounds (e.g. Suprasorb® A, Suprasorb® A + Ag, Suprasorb® Liquacel).
Changing the dressing:
- The dressing can remain on the wound for several days depending on the condition of the wound and the degree of exudation.
