One-sided strain in ergonomically poorly designed workplaces (e.g. assembly line work, in packaging centres, etc.), but also hours of ironing, working at the computer, cycling, etc. can lead to severe pain in the hand and finger joints with circulatory disorders. Rheumatic diseases can also have an unpleasant effect on the hands. Apart from the acute inflammatory form, the pain in the joints of the hands and fingers is usually chronic and gradual. The joints are swollen, the fingers are numb and ice-cold. Another cause of pain is the carpal tunnel, which is too narrow and increasingly leads to symptoms such as formication, tingling, a feeling of coldness and even muscular deficits. The wrist cuffs extend from the forearm to the centre of the fingers and are put on like a glove and always worn in pairs during the NIGHT.
