Similasan Hay Fever Tablets are a homeopathic medicine. Homeopathy is regarded as a regulatory therapy for acute and chronic illnesses.The indications are derived from the homeopathic remedy profiles. 

These include the supportive treatment of:

• Acute and chronic allergic rhinitis,
• vasomotor (= ‘nervous’) rhinitis,
• hay fever with burning eyes, watery eyes, swelling of the nasal and ocular mucous membranes, itching in the nose, a feeling of pressure in the forehead, 
• hay fever with a blocked or runny nose.

The use of this homeopathic medicine in the indicated conditions is based solely on homeopathic experience. In severe forms of theseconditions, a clinically proven treatment is indicated.

Directions for use

• Children aged 1 year and over, adolescents and adults: For acute symptoms: 1 tablet several times a day, up to once an hour. Reduce the frequency of doses as symptoms improve. 
• For chronic symptoms and to promote recovery: 1 tablet three times a day. The use of ‘Similasan’ hay fever tablets in infants under 1 year of age is not recommended, as there is insufficient data available. 
• Method of administration: Allow the tablet to dissolve in the mouth. Spread it over the surrounding mucous membrane with the tongue. For young children, the tablet may be dissolved in a little water. May also be taken on an empty stomach. As symptoms improve, reduce the frequency of administration. 
• Duration of use: If you do not feel any better, or if your symptoms worsen, after 3 days, consult your doctor.

Ingredients

• The active ingredients are: 6.25 mg Schoenocaulon officinale D4, 6.25 mg Luffa operculata D6, 6.25 mg Thryallis glauca D4, 6.25 mg Cardiospermum halicacabum D4. 
• The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, maize starch.
