Indications
Sililevo Hydrolack has been specially developed for brittle, fragile, splitting and soft nails.
Sililevo Hydrolack can also improve the appearance and condition of nails affected by psoriasis. Typical signs of these nail changes include irregular indentations, brownish discolouration under the nail (oil spots) and the separation of the nail from the nail bed (onycholysis). Non-specific nail changes include nail thickening (hyperkeratosis) and a white discolouration of the nails (leukonychia).
Sililevo Hydrolack can also be applied under cosmetic nail varnish, thereby protecting the nails from chemical ingredients that may be present in nail varnish and nail varnish removers.

The Sililevo triple-action formula:
1. Unique combination of active ingredients
- Chitosan (hydroxypropyl chitosan, HPCH): The base substance of HPCH is extracted from the strong chitinous shell of crabs. HPCH protects the nail from external influences, keeps it supple and, at the same time, prevents it from losing moisture. This is because if the moisture content is too low, the nail becomes brittle and prone to breaking. Silicic acid from horsetail extract Of all known plants, horsetail contains the highest proportion of the important mineral silicon in the form of silicic acid. It binds with nail keratin, mineralises the nail and thus strengthens the nail structure.
- Natural sulphur (MSM): MSM is a natural form of sulphur. The hardness and elasticity of nail keratin depend heavily on sulphur-rich fibre proteins and sulphur-containing cross-links between the individual keratin molecules. The sulphur from MSM is absorbed by the nail keratin and strengthens the nail plate.
2. ONY-FLEX® polish technology:
The HPCH-based polish forms an invisible, elastic film on the nail that protects against external influences. Thanks to this special technology, the active ingredients are transported into the nail, where they are needed.
3. Hydro-polish formulation:
The water-soluble polish technology is based on hydroxypropyl chitosan (HPCH).
The HPCH forms an invisible film on the nail. This film protects the nail plate from external influences whilst preventing the nail from losing moisture.
The optimum water content of the nail is between 7–18 per cent. If the water content is significantly reduced, the nail becomes brittle and prone to breaking.

Directions for use
- Apply Sililevo once a day to clean, dry nails. To do this, use the brush to apply a thin layer of the hydrating nail varnish to the nail surface, the 5 mm of skin surrounding the nail plate and under the free edge of the nail. The nail varnish dries quickly and forms an invisible, non-shiny protective film. It is recommended to apply it before going to bed so that the active ingredients can penetrate the nail overnight. Wash off any remaining varnish in the morning with water; nail varnish remover is not required.
- It is possible to use cosmetic nail varnish in combination with Sililevo Hydrolack by alternating between the two. To do this, apply Sililevo Hydrolack on five consecutive days. After applying and allowing it to dry on the fifth day, you can apply cosmetic nail varnish over the Sililevo Hydrolack. Leave the cosmetic nail varnish on your nails for three days and remove it at the end of the third day using nail varnish remover, before starting another five-day cycle using only Sililevo Hydrolack.
- For protective use (under cosmetic nail varnish), apply Sililevo Hydrolack and, once dry, apply the cosmetic nail varnish over the Sililevo Hydrolack.
