- For example, vitamins B2, niacin, B6 and B12 help to reduce tiredness and fatigue; they also support normal energy metabolism and the normal functioning of the nervous system and – like vitamins E and C – help to protect cells from oxidative stress. Normal heart function benefits from an adequate supply of thiamine (vitamin B1).
- Magnesium, together with vitamin D and calcium, supports the maintenance of normal muscle function and bone health. Magnesium also plays a role in regulating electrolyte balance. The increased demand for electrolytes during exercise can thus be effectively met.
- The three different sources of carbohydrates each have distinct properties. For example, D-ribose and glucose, as monosaccharides, provide energy very quickly. Maltodextrin is composed of various types of sugar, including both simple and complex sugars. It is absorbed gradually to provide a continuous and gentle supply of energy and is particularly well tolerated.
- The formulation also contains valuable extract from the medicinal mushroom Cordyceps. Medicinal mushrooms are particularly rich in vital nutrients. We use only high-quality extracts with a high polysaccharide content (30 per cent). The medicinal mushroom Cordyceps (Cordyceps sinensis), also known as the caterpillar fungus, was highly prized as far back as the 15th century and was considered particularly valuable. Tibetan yak herders noticed that their animals displayed remarkable stamina and resilience after consuming this mushroom.
