Exclusive sports drink powder, developed with a recipe tailored to the special needs of endurance athletes. It contains a mixture of three different carbohydrate sources, many important vitamins and minerals as well as high-quality cordyceps extract. This combination ensures an optimum supply of nutrients before, during and after training
A carbohydrate-electrolyte solution helps to maintain endurance performance during prolonged endurance training and to improve water absorption during sport. Athletes have an increased need for important nutrients, as intensive training and physical exertion place additional demands on the body.
- For example, vitamins B2, niacin, B6 and B12 help to reduce tiredness and fatigue. They also support normal energy metabolism, the normal function of the nervous system and - like vitamins E and C - help to protect cells from oxidative stress. Normal heart function benefits from a sufficient supply of thiamine (vitamin B1).
- Together with vitamin D and calcium, magnesium supports the maintenance of normal muscle function and bones. Magnesium also plays a role in regulating the electrolyte balance. The increased electrolyte requirement during sport can therefore be balanced in a targeted manner.
- The three different carbohydrate sources are characterised by different properties. As monosaccharides, D-ribose and dextrose provide energy very quickly. Maltodextrin is made up of different types of sugar, both monosaccharides and polysaccharides. It is gradually absorbed for a continuous and gentle energy supply and is particularly well tolerated.
- The formulation also contains valuable extract from the medicinal mushroom Cordyceps. Vital mushrooms are particularly rich in vital substances. We only use high-quality extracts with a high polysaccharide content (30%). The medicinal mushroom Cordyceps (Cordyceps sinensis), also known as the caterpillar fungus, was already highly prized in the 15th century and was particularly valuable. Tibetan yak herders noticed that their animals showed remarkable performance and resistance after eating this mushroom.
