Sanatur yam capsules are an organic food with organic yam powder (Dioscorea batatas/polystachya), light root from German organic cultivation.
The Dioscorea batatas yam is characterised by its long, white roots. They are known as a vegetable and are becoming increasingly popular as a food supplement. The neutral-tasting root flesh is said to be able to store a particularly large amount of light. The absorption of light energy through food is highly valued in Indian/Asian nutritional science.
The Dioscorea batatas variety, also known as light root, is cultivated for Sanatur yam. It is one of the few varieties that can also be eaten raw. Sanatur light root thrives in the mild climate of the Lake Constance region on a biodynamic organic farm. The roots can grow well and be harvested carefully in specially made large boxes.
