- Important notes: The correct size of condom is important in order to provide full protection. The following points are important for the condom size: The condom should fit snugly so that it does not slip off during sexual intercourse. However, rolling it over the stiff penis should not cause any pain. If wrinkles appear and the condom can be pushed back and forth on the stiff penis, it is too big and can slip off or tear more easily.
