- Restaxil® UMP B-Complex contains uridine monophosphate, an essential building block of nucleic acids. Nucleic acids sometimes have the task of storing information and are therefore an important cell component.
- Vitamin B12 contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system. It is important for the myelin sheath, the fat-rich protective layer that surrounds the nerve fibres. An intact protective layer ensures that the nerve fibres can transmit signals correctly. Folic acid has a function in cell division and is therefore also of great importance for the nervous system.
- Thiamine (vitamin B1), niacin (vitamin B3) and pyridoxine (vitamin B6) also contribute to the normal functioning of the nervous system. In addition, riboflavin (vitamin B2) helps to protect the cells from oxidative stress. Niacin and biotin (vitamin B7) also support normal energy metabolism. Energy is required in nerve cells for the transmission of stimuli, among other things. It also contains pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) , which contributes tothe normal synthesis and metabolism of some neurotransmitters.
