Spermidine is a so-called polyamine and occurs naturally in wheat germ. Raab Organic Spermidine contains only high-quality organic wheat germ powder with its natural spermidine content. Only the valuable germ of the wheat grain is used to produce the powder, which makes up just a tiny fraction of the mature grain. The germ is carefully separated from the endosperm, then de-oiled and finely ground.

Raab Spermidine Powder is a pure, high-quality wheat germ powder from certified organic cultivation. It stands out for its high, natural spermidine content, which amounts to 5 mg per daily dose (= 10 g).
A measuring spoon is included with the pack to ensure the correct dosage. The spermidine powder is made from the valuable germ of the wheat grain, which makes up only a tiny fraction of the grain.
Extracting the germ is a more labour-intensive process, as it must first be carefully separated from the endosperm. The wheat germ is then de-oiled and finely ground. This concentrates the naturally occurring spermidine content. The wheat germ used comes from suppliers within the EU.
Spermidine
- Spermidine is a so-called biogenic polyamine that is present in every cell of the body. The spermidine content in the body stems partly from the body’s own production and partly from the metabolic processes of bacteria in the microbiome.
- However, the body’s spermidine levels decline with age. To counteract this, spermidine can be obtained from various foods (see ‘Spermidine in foods’) and dietary supplements. As the body’s own production decreases with age, it makes sense to supplement it through the diet.
- Unlike foods, which are subject to fluctuations due to preparation and storage, dietary supplements can often guarantee a standardised content.

- Stir two heaped measuring spoons (10 g) into a smoothie, shake, porridge or muesli.
- Notes: Colour and flavour may vary as this is a natural product subject to seasonal variations. Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and heat, and keep the container tightly sealed.
