What is matcha?

Matcha is a traditional green tea derived from the Camellia sinensis tea plant. Known for its bright green colour and delicately bitter flavour, matcha originated in Japan, where it has been prized for centuries. It contains polyphenols (EGCG), amino acids (L-theanine) and caffeine. 

How is matcha produced?

The fine matcha powder used in Raab Organic Matcha capsules comes from tea plants grown on the Japanese main island of Kyushu in accordance with organic standards. The plants are shaded before harvesting. After harvesting, the leaves are picked by hand, gently dried and stripped of their leaf veins. The leaves are ground into a very fine powder in granite mills, which forms the basis for the capsules.

• Take 2 capsules daily in the morning with a meal, with plenty of water.
• Notes: Contains caffeine. Not recommended for children or pregnant women (14 mg caffeine per 2 capsules). Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. Keep out of the reach of young children.
