Turmeric, also known as curcuma, is a tropical mountain plant and belongs to the ginger family. It is native to India and South-East Asia. Turmeric naturally contains the phytochemical curcumin, which gives the plant its yellow-orange colour. The mixture also contains piperine from ground pepper.

Directions for use
- Add 1 teaspoon (3 g) of turmeric powder daily to 250 ml of liquid, e.g. fruit juices, vegetable juices, smoothies, shakes or hot soup. The powder is also well suited for colouring and enhancing the flavour of dishes.
- Notes: Consumption is not recommended for pregnant women, breastfeeding women and children. If you have liver and/or gallbladder conditions, you should only take this product after consulting a doctor. You should avoid consuming other products containing curcumin. Colour and flavour may vary, as this is a natural product subject to seasonal fluctuations.
