The Pütter bandage* is a brown, particularly strong, textile-elastic short-stretch bandage with an elasticity of around 85% for very strong compression.

Areas of application

The Pütter bandage can be used for long-term compression therapy:

• Treatment of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) with and without venous leg ulcers
• Thrombosis / thrombophlebitis
• Chronic oedema of other origins (ankle-brachial pressure index [ABPI] 0.8-1.3)
• Lymphoedema

The product can be used by healthcare professionals in clinical and home environments in combination with padding bandages and inner material on humans. The Pütter bandage is reusable.

Properties

• Elasticity: approx. 85 %.
• Washable: Wash the bandage on a normal wash cycle at 95 °C.

Indications

The product can be used for the treatment of varicose veins, thrombosis / thrombophlebitis, chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), primary and secondary prevention of venous leg ulcers / venous insufficiency and for oedema of other origins (ankle-leg pressure index [ABPI] 0.8-1.3).

Application

The Pütter bandage is intended for use by appropriately trained healthcare professionals. The Pütter bandage can be used for the treatment of the following conditions:

• Varicose veins, thrombosis / thrombophlebitis, post-thrombotic syndrome, thrombosis prophylaxis, chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), venous insufficiency, angiodysplasia and other oedema.
