Primavera Organic Thyme Thymol is a naturally pure essential oil extracted from the dried flowers and leaves of thyme (Thymus vulgaris). It is characterised by its fresh, herbaceous scent and its wide range of uses.
Thyme is a perennial herb native to the Mediterranean region. Depending on the climate and soil conditions, thyme develops different constituents and, consequently, different scent and effect profiles. These varieties are known as chemotypes. Thyme Thymol is a potent variety of thyme; in naturopathy, thyme is used to treat colds, muscle and joint complaints, as well as to aid digestion and for oral care.
