Speiklavendel is an evergreen aromatic shrub native to the Mediterranean region. Speiklavendel grows up to 80 cm high. Spikenard has a more stimulating effect than lavender fine and is used in perfumery, cosmetics and the soap industry; it is also used as an insect repellent.
