Peppermint is a perennial medicinal and aromatic herb that favours temperate climates. Peppermint can grow up to 1 metre high and has intensely fragrant leaves, which are used to make peppermint tea. Peppermint is used to flavour chocolates, cocktails, sweets and oral care products. In naturopathy, it is used for stomach, cold and muscle complaints.
