Douglas spruce, also known as Douglas fir, is an evergreen conifer. The Douglas fir can grow to 60 metres and higher and live for several hundred years. Its approx. 4 cm long needles have a pleasantly aromatic forest scent with a hint of citrus. It is traditionally used to treat colds and muscle complaints as well as to improve the air in a room.
