Primavera clary sage organic essential oil is a 100% natural essential oil from certified organic cultivation. It is extracted from the leaves and flowers of clary sage and has a warm, sweet and herbaceous fragrance.
Clary sage is a biennial plant with large hairy leaves and strongly scented blue-pink flowers that is cultivated in the Mediterranean region. Clary sage grows up to 1.5 metres tall and, like many labiates, is a bee pasture. In naturopathy, it is used for skin problems, muscle, stomach and cold complaints as well as for nervous tension; it is also used in perfumery and for flavouring food (muscat wines).
