How does PreMama duo work?

In addition to other vitamins and minerals, Premama duo tablets also contain folic acid, which is important for meeting the needs of the female body during the fertile period: before pregnancy, during pregnancy and while breastfeeding:

• The additional intake of folic acid increases the maternal folate status. A low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus. PreMama duo contains active folic acid Quatrefolic®.
• Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, to normal blood calcium levels and to the maintenance of normal teeth and bones.
• Iron contributes to normal cognitive function, normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin and normal oxygen transport in the body. Iron contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
• Calcium is required for the maintenance of normal bones and teeth.
• Vitamin B12 contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism and the normal formation of red blood cells.
• Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for normal skin function and increases iron absorption.
• Iodine contributes to normal cognitive function, normal production of thyroid hormones and normal thyroid function.

Directions for use
