Phytopharma liquorice tincture is an alcoholic plant extract based on liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra). In folk medicine, liquorice is recommended for the treatment of catarrh of the upper respiratory tract, gastritis and stomach ulcers.
The liquorice roots are harvested in the autumn months from September to November. The roots of three to four-year-old plants are dug up, washed, peeled and dried in the sun. Decoctions, extracts, powders and pastilles can be made from them. In folk medicine, the medicinal herb is recommended for the treatment of catarrh of the upper respiratory tract, gastritis and stomach ulcers.

Adults: 15 drops 3 x daily pure or in a sip of water, in acute cases 30 drops, up to a maximum of 4 x 20. Less for children depending on age (one drop per year of age). The maximum daily dose of 80 drops should not be exceeded.
