Hypertonic seawater solution with decongestant effect for nasal rinsing, especially for colds, rhinopharyngitis, rhinitis and acute rhinosinusitis.

Physiodose Hypertonic is recommended for nasal rinsing in infants (with the exception of premature babies), children and adults, especially in cases of colds, rhinopharyngitis, rhinitis and acute rhinosinusitis. The mechanical effect of a hypertonic seawater solution promotes the drainage of nasal secretions.

Physiodose Hypertonic is a sterile hypertonic solution made from natural seawater, without preservatives.Physiodose Hypertonic is available in hygienic single doses for single use. The single-dose format and soft tip make Physiodose Hypertonic easy and safe to use.

Dosage form

Single-dose ampoules 5 ml

How to use

• Apply to both nostrils once to three times a day as required.
• The rinse should be administered by an adult.
• Tilt the head to one side. Babies should lie down when using Physiodose Hypertonic.
• Remove a single-dose ampoule from the composite and open by twisting the upper part.
• Gently insert the tip into the upper part of the nostril and gently squeeze the single-dose ampoule, keeping the mouth closed so that the solution with the nasal secretion comes out of the other nostril.
• Raise your head so that the mucus can flow out.
• For infants: wipe away any excess fluid. If there is a lot of mucus flow, use a nasal aspirator to gently suck out the mucus.
• For small children: Ask them to blow their nose.
• Repeat the procedure on the other nostril.
• Precaution: For infants, apply the product slowly and with the least possible pressure to avoid any risk of contamination of the middle ear.
• Warnings: For external use only. Do not inject. Do not swallow. For single use only. Do not use damaged (leaking, deformed, etc.) or previously opened single-dose ampoules due to the risk of rapid bacterial contamination. If symptoms persist or develop negatively after one week, seek medical advice. Serious incidents occurring in connection with this medical device must be reported to the manufacturer at www.labogilbert.fr and/or the competent national authority.
