Sterile Physiodose saline solution (NaCl 0.9%) in practical 5ml ampoules. Ideal for gently cleaning the nose, eyes and ears of babies, children and adults. Also suitable for wound cleansing and inhalation.

Physiodose isotonic saline solution is a sterile, isotonic, non-injectable saline solution without preservatives. The single-dose format makes Physiodose isotonic saline hygienic, easy and safe to use.

Areas of application

Physiodose isotonic saline solution is recommended for infants, children and adults:

• For nasal hygiene: for instilling or rinsing dry nasal mucous membranes
• For eye hygiene: for instilling, rinsing or bathing
• For ear rinsing
• For rinsing wounds

Application

FOR NASAL AND EYE HYGIENE

Physiodose physiological saline solution can be used 1 to 6 times a day as required for nasal and eye hygiene.

For nasal hygiene

• For instilling or rinsing a dry or blocked nose.
• Tilt your head backwards. Gently insert the tip into the nostril and gently press the single dose. Repeat the process for the other nostril. Turn your head forwards again so that the secretion can drain away. Then wipe away the excess spray. Do not blow your nose vigorously for 10 minutes after administering the product.
• For infants, only instil the product with gentle pressure to avoid the risk of infecting the middle ear.

For eye hygiene

• For instillation, rinsing or bathing.
• Instil a few drops of the solution into each eye. Ensure that the single dose does not come into contact with the surface of the eye. Remove the excess liquid with a sterile compress.
• When using eye drops, wait 15 minutes before instilling.

FOR EAR HYGIENE

• For rinsing.
• Use Physiodose physiological saline solution to remove soluble earwax deposits and rinse the external auditory canal with a surfactant solution after use.
• Rinse the external auditory canal with Physiodose physiological saline solution. Use one dose of Physiodose physiological saline solution for both ears. Remove the excess liquid with a compress.

FOR RINSING WOUNDS

• Rinse the wound with a full dose. Ensure that the single dose does not come into contact with the wound.
• Remove the excess liquid only on healthy skin.

FOR INHALATION DURING AEROSOL THERAPY

• If you are using the product as a solution for inhalation in aerosol therapy, please read the instructions on the product to be inhaled. If you are using the product individually, please read the instructions on the aerosol therapy device.
