Physiodose Isotonic saline ampoules 5 ml, sterile, 15 ST

Sterile Physiodose saline solution (0.9% NaCl) in handy 5ml ampoules. Ideal for gently cleansing the nose, eyes and ears of infants, children and adults. Also suitable for wound cleansing and inhalation.

Isotonic saline solution for nasal and eye hygiene, ear and wound irrigation, and for inhalation in aerosol therapy. The tried-and-tested solution for daily hygiene of the nose, eyes, ears and minor wounds. Ideal for babies, children and adults – in sterile single doses, safe and preservative-free.

Physiodose isotonic saline solution is a sterile, isotonic, non-injectable saline solution free from preservatives. Thanks to its single-dose format, Physiodose isotonic saline solution is hygienic, easy and safe to use.

Indications

Physiodose isotonic saline solution is recommended for infants, children and adults: 

• For nasal hygiene: for instillation or rinsing in cases of dry nasal mucosa
• For eye hygiene: for instillation, rinsing or bathing
• For ear rinsing
• For wound rinsing

Directions for use

FOR NASAL AND EYE HYGIENE

Physiodose physiological saline solution can be used 1 to 6 times a day, as required, for nasal and eye hygiene.

For nasal hygiene

• For instillation or rinsing in cases of a dry or blocked nose.
• Tilt your head back. Gently insert the tip into the nostril and press the single-dose dispenser lightly. Repeat the process for the other nostril. Tilt your head forwards again so that the secretions can drain out. Then wipe away any excess spray. Do not blow your nose forcefully for 10 minutes after administration.
• When using the product on infants, apply only with light pressure to avoid the risk of middle ear infection.

For eye hygiene

• For instillation, rinsing or bathing.
• Instill a few drops of the solution into each eye. Take care to ensure that the single-dose container does not come into contact with the surface of the eye. Remove any excess liquid with a sterile compress.
• If using eye drops, wait 15 minutes before instilling this solution.

FOR EAR HYGIENE

• For rinsing.
• Use Physiodose physiological saline solution to remove soluble earwax deposits and rinse the external auditory canal after using a surfactant solution.
• Rinse the external auditory canal with Physiodose physiological saline solution. Use one dose of Physiodose physiological saline solution for both ears. Remove any excess fluid with a compress.

FOR RINSING WOUNDS

• Rinse the wound thoroughly with a full dose. Ensure that the single-dose sachet does not come into contact with the wound.
• Wipe away any excess liquid only from the healthy skin.

FOR INHALATION IN AEROSOL THERAPY

• If you are using the product as a solution for inhalation in aerosol therapy, please read the instructions on the product to be inhaled. If you are using the product on its own, please read the instructions on the aerosol therapy device.

Composition: Sodium chloride (NaCl) 0.9 g, purified water q.s.p. 100 ml.
