It has been scientifically proven that the intake of proteins by athletes before training can reduce the muscle-degrading (catabolic) metabolism. An intake of proteins with a high biological value after a training session can bring about a change in the hormone profile that builds up in the muscle and favours muscle growth. Whey protein is characterised by rapid absorption in the gastrointestinal tract. This results in an accelerated influx of amino acids into the blood and optimum protein synthesis with an anabolic (muscle-building) character.

Directions
Stir 25g (= 2 tablespoons) into 300ml water, soya milk or skimmed milk. Always drink on an empty stomach before and after training and as a meal replacement when dieting to maximise its effect. If you want to build muscle, the dose can be varied or increased depending on body weight, intensity of training, individual nutritional components, etc.
