- for the prevention and treatment of sore nipples;
- in infant care to prevent and heal nappy rash; as an adjunct in cases of skin damage (for the prevention and treatment of radiation damage, e.g. from X-rays), skin grafts, pressure ulcers, chronic skin ulcers, and mucosal defects at the cervix.
