The hCG hormone and pregnancy

In the early stages of pregnancy, the fertilised egg is transported from the fallopian tubes to the uterus, where it implants approximately 7 days later. It is precisely at this stage that the tissue forming the placenta begins to produce human chorionic gonadotrophin, also known as the hCG hormone, which is essential for the development and healthy progression of pregnancy. The rapid appearance and rapid rise in the concentration of the hCG hormone in urine mean that it is an excellent indicator for confirming the onset of pregnancy. The EARLY PREGNANCY TEST is an ultra-sensitive and rapid self-test that detects hCG in urine at very low concentrations (10 mIU/ml).

Test principle

The EARLY PREGNANCY TEST is an immunochromatographic test that detects the hCG hormone using specific, gold-conjugated monoclonal antibodies contained in the test strip.

Instructions

Remove the protective cap and hold the absorbent tip directly under the urine stream for at least 10 seconds;
Alternatively, dip the absorbent tip into a clean, dry container for 10 seconds;
Replace the protective cap on the spoon device and wait 5 minutes to read the result.

Interpretation of results:

Negative: The hCG level in the urine is below the threshold of 10 mIE/mL.
Positive: The concentration of the hCG hormone in the urine is at or above the threshold, indicating pregnancy. Consult your doctor or specialist.
