Multi-drug rapid test
A rapid test for the simultaneous detection of multiple drugs and drug metabolites in human urine. The drug test can also be used by healthcare professionals, including staff specialising in point-of-care laboratory diagnostics. DRUG TEST Panel is a chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of multiple drugs and their metabolites in urine.
- Amphetamine: This is a powerful central nervous system stimulant that produces a feeling of energy and excessive strength (increases heart rate, raises blood pressure, suppresses the feeling of hunger, etc.).
- Cocaine: It is a local anaesthetic and a central nervous system stimulant which, when taken in high doses, can lead to fever, apathy, breathing difficulties and loss of consciousness.
- Cannabis: It is a hallucinogenic substance derived from the flowers of the hemp plant (Cannabis sativa). Following the consumption of cannabis, chemical compounds such as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) can be detected in the urine. The use of marijuana can cause impaired sensory perception, impaired short-term memory, paranoia, anxiety, depression and confusion.
- Methadone: It is an analgesic narcotic prescribed for the treatment of pain and for the treatment of opiate dependence. It provides long-lasting pain relief.
- Methamphetamine: Chemically, it is very similar to amphetamine. However, it has a stronger effect on the central nervous system. Acute and high doses lead to intense stimulation of the central nervous system and induce euphoria, alertness, reduced appetite and a feeling of high energy and strength.
- Morphine: It is an opiate that acts on pain perception and affects the central nervous system; it is used in medicine as an analgesic for the treatment of acute and chronic pain. High doses of morphine lead to high tolerance and addiction, physiological dependence and abuse amongst users.

Technical data
DRUG TEST uses monoclonal antibodies to selectively detect high concentrations of specific drugs in urine. During the test, the urine sample moves upwards by capillary action. If the drug concentration in the urine is below the detection limit, it will not saturate the binding sites of the specific antibodies. The antibody then reacts with the active substance-protein conjugate complex, and a visible line will form in the test region associated with the specific metabolite.

Instructions
- Remove the cap from the test cassette;
- Immerse the test cassette vertically in the urine sample for 10–15 seconds;
- Replace the cap and wait 5 minutes to read the results.
Interpretation of results:
- Negative: The concentration of the drug being tested is below the specified thresholds.
- Positive: The concentration of the drug being tested is above the specified thresholds.
