Multi-drug rapid test
A rapid test for the simultaneous detection of multiple drugs and drug metabolites in human urine. The drug test can also be used by healthcare professionals including near-patient laboratory diagnostics professionals. DRUG TEST Panel is a chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of multiple drugs and their metabolites in urine.
- Amphetamine: It is a powerful central nervous system stimulant that leads to a feeling of energy and excessive vigour (increases heart rate, raises blood pressure, suppresses hunger, etc.).
- Cocaine: It is a local anaesthetic and central nervous system stimulant that can lead to fever, apathy, breathing difficulties and unconsciousness when taken in high doses.
- Marijuana: It is a hallucinogenic substance that comes from the flower of the hemp plant (Cannabis sativa). After ingesting marijuana, chemical compounds such as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) are detected in the urine. The use of marijuana can cause sensory impairment, short-term memory impairment, paranoia, anxiety, depression and confusion.
- Methadone: It is an analgesic narcotic prescribed to treat pain and opiate addiction. It relieves pain for a long time.
- Methamphetamine: Chemically, it is very similar to amphetamine. However, it has stronger effects on the central nervous system. Acute and high doses lead to a strong stimulation of the central nervous system and cause euphoria, alertness, decreased appetite and a feeling of high energy and vigour.
- Morphine: It is an opiate that affects the perception of pain and influences the central nervous system; it is used in medicine as an analgesic for the treatment of acute and chronic pain. High doses of morphine lead to high tolerance and addiction, physiological dependence and abuse among consumers.
Who is the test aimed at?
DRUG TEST is for anyone who needs to detect the presence of drugs in the sample (for example, for professional, sporting or personal reasons). The speed and sensitivity of immunochemical methods have made them the primary methods for the detection of drug abuse.
Technical data
DRUG TEST uses monoclonal antibodies to selectively detect high concentrations of certain drugs in urine. During the test, the urine sample migrates upwards by capillary action. If the drug in the urine is below the detection limit, it will not saturate the binding sites of the specific antibodies. The antibody will then react with the drug-protein conjugate complex and a visible line will form in the test region associated with the specific metabolite.

How to use
- Remove the cap from the test cassette;
- Dip the test cassette vertically into the urine sample for 10-15 seconds;
- Replace the cap and wait 5 minutes to read the results.
Interpretation of the results:
- Negative: The concentration of the drug tested is below the specified limits.
- Positive: The concentration of the drug tested is above the specified limits.
