The PARI VORTEX is an inhalation aid. It is used in conjunction with medicated sprays or so-called metered-dose inhalers for the treatment of the lower respiratory tract.

The VORTEX is suitable for treating patients of all age groups (a suitable mask is required for treating babies and young children). This PARI product may be used both in domestic settings and in professional healthcare facilities. In domestic settings, this PARI product must only be used for a single patient (no change of patient). In professional settings, switching between patients is permitted provided that the relevant reprocessing measures are followed. This product must only be used by persons who understand the contents of the instructions for use and are able to use the product safely.

The following groups of people must be supervised by a person responsible for their safety whilst using the product:

Babies, infants and children
People with reduced capabilities (e.g. physical, mental, sensory)

If the patient is unable to use this product safely on their own, the treatment must be administered by the person responsible. This PARI product is only suitable for patients who are breathing independently and are conscious. Only metered-dose inhalers approved for inhalation therapy may be used. The frequency and duration of use are determined by healthcare professionals (doctors, pharmacists and physiotherapists) in accordance with individual requirements.
