Who is OMNi-BiOTiC® ViTAL Humin designed for?

Diarrhoea is a clear sign from the gut that something is wrong. Triggers can include pathogens, unfamiliar foods, medication, and mental or physical stress. But environmental factors are also placing greater demands on the gut than ever before: every day, residues of pesticides and heavy metals, as well as countless other pollutants, enter our bodies via food, water and air, and as the central interface between the body and the outside world, the gut is particularly affected by these stresses. In particular, the beneficial bacteria of the gut flora and the intestinal lining can suffer as a result. Gastrointestinal complaints such as diarrhoea are often the consequence – frequently without a clear cause. It is precisely at such times that the gut should be given targeted support. As the control centre of our body, it is involved in numerous vital processes: it regulates digestion as well as our immune system and inflammatory processes, the effects of which can be felt all the way to the brain.

This is precisely where humic acids can provide targeted support for the gut. They are formed through the transformation of plant material that is thousands or even millions of years old. WH67® humic acids – a natural substance backed by extensive research

The humic acids WH67® contained in OMNi-BiOTiC® ViTAL Humin have been established for many years as a medical device in the field of gut health. These are particularly high-quality humic acids, extracted in Germany to high quality standards. Their distinctive feature lies in the unique combination of strong toxin binding and simultaneous protection of the intestinal mucosa.

At first glance, humic acids are reminiscent of activated charcoal, which many people recognise as a remedy for diarrhoea. However, WH67® humic acids offer a crucial additional benefit: thanks to their particularly fine structure, they reach the entire intestinal surface and form a protective film over the intestinal mucosa. This soothes irritated nerve endings in the gut, supports the gut’s natural barrier function and promotes the regeneration of the stressed intestinal mucosa.

In particular, however, humic acids form a barrier over the mucosa, thereby preventing harmful substances from entering the bloodstream. This is something that activated charcoal alone cannot achieve. Scientific studies even show that the specialised humic acids WH67® can mitigate the adverse effects of glyphosate – a commonly used weedkiller – on beneficial gut bacteria. Furthermore, humic acids possess antiviral properties, as they make it more difficult for viruses to attach to the body’s cells.

Directions for use

OMNi-BiOTiC® ViTAL Humin should preferably be taken as a whole capsule before, during or after a meal, with sufficient liquid, e.g. water or tea. 

• Adults: 2 capsules three times daily for the first 10 days. Thereafter, for example, 1 capsule three times daily until symptoms subside (max. 20 days). 
• Children over 6 years: 1 capsule three times daily for the first 10 days. Thereafter, for example, 1 capsule twice daily or once daily until symptoms subside (maximum 20 days). 

Pre-operative: 

• Adults: 2 capsules three times a day, starting at least 5 days before the planned operation 

Interactions with other medicines? 

• OMNi-BiOTiC® ViTAL Humin should be taken at least 2 hours apart from other medicines (particularly those with a narrow therapeutic index, such as hormones and chemotherapeutic agents) and dietary supplements (vitamins, minerals).

Suitable for people with diabetes.

Ingredients

Each capsule contains 400 mg of natural humic acids WH67®. The capsule shell is made of cellulose and coloured with natural chlorophyll. Free from animal-derived ingredients, gelatine, lactose, gluten, iodine and cholesterol.
