Nutricia Nutrison® Soya Multi Fibre PlantBased is a normocaloric, purely plant-based, vegan tube feed based on soya without added dietary fibre. It is fully balanced and can be used as the sole source of nutrition.

Nutrison® tube feeds are foods for special medical purposes (balanced diet). For diet management in patients with a lack of or limited ability to provide adequate normal nutrition or with disease-related malnutrition.

Particularly suitable for patients with symptoms of gastrointestinal intolerance without a clear cause or intolerance to cow's milk protein. The administration of 1,500 ml provides an adequate supply of vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Nutrison® Soya PlantBased is gluten-free and lactose-free. Nutrison® Soya PlantBased is suitable for use with an enteral tube (e.g. nasogastric or PEG tube).

Nutrison® Soya PlantBased is our normocaloric, purely plant-based tube feed (100 kcal per 100 ml) based on soya and without added fibre*. It is suitable for enteral nutrition therapy in cases of malnutrition due to illness or age, especially for patients with

• normal energy and protein requirements
• Symptoms of gastrointestinal intolerance (e.g. diarrhoea) without a clear cause
• Intolerance to cow's milk protein, lactose or gluten
• Contraindication for dietary fibre
• the desire for a plant-based, vegetarian or vegan diet

• Familiar tolerability: Just like our proven predecessor product Nutrison® Soya, Nutrison® Soya PlantBased also has soya protein as the sole protein source with 16 En% and a PDCAAS of 1**. The food is therefore particularly suitable for patients with symptoms of gastrointestinal intolerance without a clear cause or intolerance to cow's milk protein, lactose or gluten.
• Purely plant-based: Thanks to the new algae-based source of vitamin D, Nutrison® Soya PlantBased contains only plant-based ingredients. This means that the food is also suitable for patients who wish to follow a plant-based or vegan diet.

* May contain naturally occurring dietary fibre ** PDCAAS stands for Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid Score. A PDCAAS of 1 means that the protein contains the right amount of all essential amino acids and is easily digestible, i.e. the food has a very good protein quality.

Directions for use

• Only use under medical supervision.
• Total daily amount according to individual energy requirements. The administration of 1,500 ml provides an adequate supply of vitamins, minerals and trace elements
• Instructions for use: Check appearance and shake well before use. Do not dilute or add medication. Store in a cool, dry place. Administer at room temperature. Maximum hanging time for opened packs: 24 hours for closed system (spike connection, aseptic handling), 8 hours for open system (wide neck connection, foil is removed). After opening, store the closed bottle in the refrigerator for max. 24 hours.
  
• Contraindications: Nutrison Soya Multi Fibre PlantBased must not be used if enteral nutrient intake is prohibited or in the case of intolerance to any of the ingredients used. Nutrison Soya Multi Fibre PlantBased is not suitable for children under 3 years of age or patients who require a fibre-free diet. For children over 3 years of age, use only with special care and under regular medical supervision. Due to the naturally occurring isoflavone content, use under regular medical supervision in the case of hormone-sensitive tumour diseases.
