NutriLabs Rascave® hepar chewable tablets are a feed supplement for cats to support liver metabolism.
Properties

The liver is the central organ of the entire metabolism. It is closely linked to the glucose, fat and protein metabolism. Nutrients that are absorbed into the blood from the intestine reach the liver via the portal vein and are metabolised there; the end products are then either released into the blood or removed from the blood. The liver therefore has a particular need for an abundance of micronutrients.
Cats have some special features with regard to their liver metabolism. For example, cats have a much higher protein requirement (in terms of both quantity and quality), as they cannot reduce their protein synthesis due to constant transaminase activity. Taurine is particularly important because cats can only conjugate bile acids to taurine.

Ingredients
- Composition: Poultry protein (partially hydrolysed), skimmed milk powder, yeasts, product from the processing of herbs (milk thistle - Silybum marianum 4.8 %), methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), products from the processing of fresh fruit and vegetables (artichoke - Cynara scolymus).
- Additives per kg: vitamin E 5,270 I.U., vitamin B1 3,190 mg, vitamin B2 2,150 mg, vitamin B6 1,020 mg, calcium D-pantothenate 498 mg, vitamin B12 25,000 mcg, L-arginine 5,660 mg, betaine 33,500 mg, taurine 6,410 mg.
