Östrofer is a feed supplement for bitches with phytohormones (plant precursors for hormone metabolism) from red clover and soya.
Östrofer also contains a complex of vitamins and minerals that can positively support the general hormone balance and metabolism of bitches: Vitamin A, E, K3, D3, C, B1, B2, B6, B12 as well as copper, zinc, manganese and selenium.
The cause of incontinence in bitches is often a drop in hormone levels, also as a late consequence of castration. Larger dog breeds (>20 kg) in particular can be affected. The bitch is usually given hormone therapy or a drug (usually adrenaline-based). Although such therapies combat the problem, they have severe side effects on the organism, the heart and the hormone levels of the animal, especially with longer therapies. Östrofer helps bitches to rebalance their hormone levels without any of these side effects. The product can also be used in parallel with hormone or adrenaline therapies, so that reduced doses of medication may be possible.
Oestrofer is a product that can be administered on a long-term basis. Ideally, feeding should be started immediately after castration. However, it can also be given effectively to support incontinence that occurs later.

- 10.0 kg - 0.5 (piece/day)
- 20.0 kg - 1.0 (piece/day)
- 30.0 kg - 1.5 (pieces/day)
Ingredients
- Composition: Milk and dairy products, red clover seed 15 %, toasted soya beans 10 %, meat and animal by-products, rice, potato starch, vegetable by-products, sugar, egg and egg products, yeast.
- Additives per kg: Vitamin A 187,500 IU, vitamin D3 18,750 IU, vitamin E (all rac-alpha-tocopheryl acetate) 5.925 mg, vitamin B1 (thiamine mononitrate) 320 mg, vitamin B2 (riboflavin) 830 mg, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) 665 mg, vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) 5,220 mcg, vitamin K3 (as menadione-nicotinamide bisulphite preparation) 540 mg, vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) 8.250 mg, niacin 3,387 mg, calcium D-pantothenate 2,025 mg, folic acid 125 mg biotin 13,125 mcg, copper (as glycine-copper chelate, hydrate) 120 mg, manganese (as glycine-manganese chelate, hydrate) 900 mg, zinc (as glycine-zinc chelate, hydrate) 900 mg, selenium (as sodium selenite) 8.3 mg.
