Product information "NimmNem L-Tryptophan 400 mg capsules"
NimmNem L-Tryptophan 400 mg capsules are a food product containing the essential amino acid L-tryptophan.
L-tryptophan is an essential amino acid and cannot be produced by the body, which is why it must be obtained from food.
L-tryptophan is found in many natural sources: for example, 100g of soya beans contain 590mg, 100g of cashew nuts contain 287mg.
L-tryptophan is converted into serotonin in the body, which is why it is thought to have a mood-lifting effect. It is also said to help you fall asleep more easily and enjoy a more restful sleep.

Directions for use
- We recommend taking one capsule daily. It is best to take the capsule with a meal that is as high in fat as possible, with plenty of liquid. If the meal is low in fat, you can also use a teaspoon of oil or fat, e.g. coconut oil. The ideal amount of fluid to drink when taking the supplement may vary from person to person. In any case, we recommend a large glass (250ml) of water. Alternatively, you should use a low-carbonated, non-alcoholic drink. Ideally, take L-tryptophan 20 minutes before going to bed with a carbohydrate-rich drink (herbal tea with honey, sweet fruit juice).
- Notes: Do not take during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding, or by children and adolescents. Do not take if you have liver disease, kidney failure, amino acid metabolism disorders, or are taking antidepressants, SSRIs, appetite suppressants or Parkinson’s disease medication. This product may impair your ability to drive. If in doubt, consult a doctor.
