So that dogs’ hearts beat higher and stronger
Not only do we have a soft spot for dogs, but we also provide the right nutrients for a dog’s heart. Depending on size and breed, a dog’s heart beats between 70 and 100 times per minute. In the process, around 1 to 1.5 litres of blood are pumped through the body, supplying the cells with nutrients and oxygen. If the heart and circulatory system are impaired, too few nutrients reach the cells and, due to a lack of energy, the dog very quickly reaches its physical limits and also takes longer to recover. Heat can exacerbate this further, and older dogs’ hearts often no longer function quite as smoothly, frequently suffering from poor circulation.
Older dogs in particular should therefore not be exposed to excessive heat or exertion, in order to protect their heart and circulation. CORVITAL Dog®, with its natural ingredients, can play a significant supporting role in helping the dog’s heart to keep beating strongly for a long time. The hawthorn and taurine it contains are said to have a positive effect on the functions of the heart muscle as well as cardioprotective effects. Ingredients
- Calcium contributes to normal blood clotting.
- Hawthorn offers herbal support for the ageing canine heart as vitality declines – its antioxidant effects can help protect the heart muscle.
- Ginkgo can promote blood circulation and thus support the dog’s cardiovascular health.
- Taurine is required for the functioning of the heart muscle and retina.
- Folic acid contributes to the production of red blood cells, which are responsible for transporting oxygen throughout the body – this is important for a dog’s cardiovascular health.
- Cat’s claw may help regulate a dog’s heart and blood pressure.

Directions for use
- Dog’s weight – approx. 10 kg: 1 level measuring spoon
- Dog’s weight – approx. 25 kg: 1½ level measuring spoons
- Dog’s weight – approx. 50 kg: 3 level measuring spoons
- Notes: When feeding, ensure the animal drinks enough water. Recommendation: feed the entire contents of the tin. Shake the tin well before use and close it tightly after use.
