Important information

Breastfeeding is best for your baby. Furthermore, breastfeeding is the most cost-effective way to feed your baby. The earlier and more frequently you put your baby to the breast, the sooner your milk supply will establish itself.

A balanced diet during pregnancy and after giving birth supports breastfeeding. The decision not to breastfeed is difficult to reverse, and supplementing with infant formula can hinder successful breastfeeding. Speak to your paediatrician or midwife if you wish to use infant formula.

Directions for use

Please follow the instructions for use exactly when preparing infant formula. Incorrect preparation and storage can lead to health problems caused by the growth of unwanted bacteria. Prepare the formula fresh before each feed and feed it immediately. Do not reuse any leftover formula. Clean the bottle, teat and ring thoroughly and boil for 5 minutes. Do not heat the infant formula in the microwave (risk of scalding).

Preparation:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly and ensure your work area is clean.
2. Pour the desired amount into a sterile bottle and warm to feeding temperature (approx. 37°C).

2. Shake the bottle before use and warm it to drinking temperature (approx. 37°C). Open the cap and remove the protective film. Screw the appropriate teat onto the neck of the bottle.
3. Check the drinking temperature and feed within one hour.
