Vitamin K2 is derived from the natural raw material natto. Known as the ‘bone vitamin’, it is one of the most important fat-soluble vitamins. In its active form, MK-7 all-trans, it is responsible for activating the protein osteocalcin, which transports calcium to the bones. Vitamin K2 MK-7 is of bacterial origin and therefore has a long half-life, meaning that even a single daily dose ensures continuous protection from vitamin K2.
The umbrella term ‘vitamin K’ is a collective term for various substances (phylloquinone = vitamin K1, menachione = vitamin K2, menadione = vitamin K3).
Whilst vitamin K2 helps maintain healthy bones, vitamin K1 plays a role in normal blood clotting. Vitamin K1 occurs naturally in natto (fermented soya beans). You can find this natural substance in the NatuGena product Nattokinase.

Directions for use
8 drops once daily. For best results, take immediately after a meal with a teaspoon of NORSAN oil to enhance bioavailability.
