The non-sterile, highly absorbent wound dressing has a liquid-impermeable blue fleece on the reverse side. It is filled with an extremely absorbent pad and is used for heavily oozing, infected or chronic wounds. It is also used for weeping wound healing disorders. The absorbent pads must be sterilised using a validated procedure before use.
Non-sterile absorbent dressing, size 20cm x 20cm, consisting of a soft non-woven material, which covers an absorbent body made of soft, bleached cellulose fluff and a cellulose layer for secretion distribution. A liquid-impermeable layer of non-woven fabric is located on the back of the compress. The absorbent dressing is used to treat and clean heavily oozing, infected or chronic wounds. It is also used for oozing wound healing disorders, for padding wounds and as a secondary dressing for heavily exuding wounds. It is intended for single use.
