NAWA® Medical Electrolyte Ointment S promotes wound healing, reduces swelling, minimises pain, reduces scarring and prevents infections. Wound and healing ointment for external use for the healing of skin injuries.
Electrolyte Ointment S promotes wound healing, reduces swelling, minimises pain, reduces scarring and prevents infections. Electrolyte Ointment S is used to create an optimum physical environment for the healing of injured skin. This accelerates the removal of haematoma and oedema, reduces swelling and thus alleviates pain. Re-epithelialisation or the formation of new tissue is supported, healing after operations or injuries (wounds, burns, sunburn) is improved and scarring is reduced. It is suitable for use on children, contains no skin-irritating substances and can be applied to the mouth and mucous membrane area (e.g. nose).
Skin care and protection are important care measures for people with chronic wounds. They serve to maintain or restore the skin's protective barrier and prevent complications. It is essential to include the wound edge in the treatment, as an avital wound edge leads to a delay in wound healing. The new epidermis forms from the intact epithelial tissue at the wound edges, i.e. the promotion of re-epithelialisation can be achieved by activating the wound edge.
Electrolyte Ointment S can also be used in conjunction with a commercially available dressing material. Covering the injured skin with a dressing additionally protects the wound from external influences that could interfere with healing.
