Medicomp® non-sterile non-woven dressings are versatile and absorbent dressings made of soft, skin-friendly non-woven material. They are ideal for the initial treatment of wounds, cleaning skin and wounds and as a carrier material for ointments.
The non-woven dressings consist of a mixture of viscose and polyester fibres. The viscose content is between 67% and 70%, with the remainder consisting of polyester fibres. The compresses are free from binding agents and optical brighteners, are permeable to air, have four layers and are available in various sizes. The compresses can be unfolded if a larger format is required.
Areas of application
- The non-woven dressings can be used as a primary wound dressing for injuries, for initial cleansing of wounds and for cleansing intact and injured skin, as a carrier material for external preparations (e.g. disinfectants, ointments), as a secondary wound dressing for acute and chronic wounds, for absorbing body fluids and as a mechanical barrier.
