Sterile slit compresses made of non-woven fabric, consisting of viscose and polyester fibres, available in various sizes, with a Y-cut. The sterile compresses are packaged in paper foil pouches.

The slit compresses made of non-woven fabric cushion and protect the skin during the insertion of needles or similar devices that penetrate the skin (e.g. cannulas, catheters) into the human body to establish venous access, administer medicines or insert a medical device into the body. Also used to absorb exudates.
