MamaGynial is a special vegan micronutrient combination for all women who are or want to become mums or are already breastfeeding their baby. In addition to a balanced diet, a supplementary supply of vitamins and minerals is particularly important in this phase of life.

MamaGynial was developed together with Austrian gynaecologists, nutrition experts and mums to provide women in these phases of life with the best possible care. Just 1 capsule of MamaGynial daily covers your additional requirements of folic acid (folate), DHA (omega-3 fatty acid), vitamin D3 and other micronutrients.

Why is folic acid (folate) so important?

According to the recommendation of the Austrian Nutrition Society, women should take additional folate before and during pregnancy to prevent maldevelopment of the spinal cord and nervous system (e.g. neural tube defects) due to folic acid deficiency.

The body cannot produce folic acid itself, but can only absorb it through food. Therefore, according to the latest scientific findings¹, in addition to a diet rich in folic acid, a daily intake of up to 800 μg folate over a period of at least 8 weeks is recommended. Adequate folate levels areparticularly important if you want to have children and during early pregnancy.

MamaGynial capsules contain Quatrefolic®, a specially developed, biologically highly active folate that can be absorbed particularly well by the body. With just one capsule a day you are optimally supplied.

... for mum and baby is the additional requirement for the omega-3 fatty acid DHA and vitamin D3. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision. Vitamin D3 supports cell division and the immune system.

Active ingredients

  • Active folic acid from 100% Quatrefolic® supports cell division and contributes to normal haematopoiesis and the growth of maternal tissue (especially the placenta, uterus and breast tissue) during pregnancy. The intake of folic acid is therefore recommended, but not every woman can fully utilise folic acid. Quatrefolic® is a patented premium form of folic acidthat can be optimally utilised by almost all women. It supports the healthy development of the baby and supplements your diet from the desire to have children and during pregnancy.
  • DHA from algae oil this omega-3 fatty acid is one of the most important unsaturated fatty acids during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The Austrian Federal Ministry of Health recommends an intake of 200 mg docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) per day.
  • Iodine contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones and normal thyroid function.
  • Vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12 and biotin contribute to normal energy metabolism & normal function of the nervous system.
  • Vitamin D3 contributes to the normal function of the immune system and cell division. The Austrian Nutrition Society recommends an intake of 20 μg vitamin D3 per day.
  • Vitamin E helps to protect cells from oxidative stress.
  • Zinc supports cell division and contributes to normal fertility and reproduction.
