The macula lutea (also known as the yellow spot) of the eye contains the three carotenoids as combined in this product: meso-zeaxanthin, lutein and zeaxanthin. These three carotenoids form the macular pigment there. It acts as a blue light filter precisely at the point on the retina with the highest concentration of rods and cones (light receptors). The three macular carotenoids are distributed very specifically within the retina (see illustration). They filter high-energy blue light, which is present in natural sunlight as well as in lamps and LEDs.
Thanks to its zinc and vitamin B2 content, MacuCap® LMZ is tailored to the eyes’ specific micronutrient requirements and is designed to help you supplement your diet effectively, so that you can meet your eyes’ specific needs as effectively as possible. Zinc and vitamin B2 help maintain normal vision.

Directions for use
- Take 1 capsule daily (preferably with a meal), swallowing it whole with liquid.
- Notes: Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking this product!
Ingredients
- Ingredients: Extract of marigold flowers containing lutein and zeaxanthin (with sunflower oil, safflower oil, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin, antioxidants: tocopherols); soya oil; gelatine (bovine); humectants: glycerine, sorbitol; water; emulsifier: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; zinc oxide; soya lecithin; colour: iron oxide; riboflavin.
- Composition per daily dose (1 capsule) %NRV*: zinc 5 mg 50%, vitamin B2 1.4 mg 100%.
