The Selftan self-tanning cream from the Louis Widmer Sun Care range gives you beautiful, sun-kissed skin. The lightly perfumed texture is easy to apply and ensures an even tan.

Properties

• The active ingredient DHA (dihydroxyacetone) colours the upper layer of the skin for a natural tan without UV risk
• Even tanning thanks to partial encapsulation of the DHA
• Pleasant, non-greasy cream
• With vitamin E as a radical scavenger and skin protection as well as aloe vera for additional moisturisation

Effect

• The active ingredient DHA (dihydroxyacetone) colours the upper horny layer brown
• Part of the DHA is encapsulated in cyclodextrins, resulting in a natural, even tanning effect
• With the natural exfoliation of the upper cell layers, this skin colouring disappears again after a few days
• Vitamin E as a radical scavenger and skin protection and aloe vera for additional moisturisation

How to use

• For an even tan, prior exfoliation is recommended. Apply Selftan evenly to cleansed skin so that no spots or streaks appear and allow to absorb completely. When using on the face, avoid the hairline and eyebrows. Calloused areas, e.g. elbows, knees, heels, tan more intensely and should therefore be treated more sparingly. Wash hands thoroughly with soap after use.
• Notes: Not all skin tans with self-tanning products and the intensity of the colour depends on the thickness of the horny layer. If the colour tone is too weak, the cream can be applied twice. If only a hint of a tan is desired, the facial skin can be treated beforehand with a light day cream and the body with body lotion. The tan appears after two to four hours. Avoid contact with clothing until the cream has been completely absorbed into the skin. Selftan does not protect against sunburn.
