Application

skinexpert AHA Cream 5 % is suitable for the regular application of AHA acids to the skin. At the beginning of the treatment, the cream is applied thinly once or twice a week. After two to three weeks, the treatment can be intensified and the cream can be used up to once a day. Before use, cleanse the skin well and clarify with a tonic. Apply a thin layer of skinexpert AHA cream 5 % and leave on for approx. 30 minutes. Then apply the day cream or night cream. The AHA cream does not replace normal skin care and should be used as a supplement. During treatment with AHA acids, it is important to protect the skin from the sun. We recommend facial care with high to very high UV protection. After starting with skinexpert AHA Cream 5 %, the treatment can be intensified with skinexpert AHA Cream Intensive 10 %. It can be used up to once a day for 1-3 months, preferably in the evening. For very sensitive skin, wash off after 20-30 minutes. Then apply the appropriate night cream. skinexpert AHA Cream Intensive 10 % can cause skin irritation and should only be used once the skin has become accustomed to the AHA treatment
Advice: Only use according to the instructions of specialised personnel. Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact with the eyes: Rinse gently with water for a few minutes. Remove any contact lenses if possible. If irritation persists, discontinue use and seek medical attention. It is recommended to protect the areas where AHAs have been applied with a high to very high protection factor sunscreen before exposure to the sun. Skin contact with the product must be of limited frequency or duration as described during application.
