Directions for use

skinexpert AHA Cream 5% is suitable for regular use on the skin with AHA acids. At the start of treatment, apply a thin layer of the cream once or twice a week. After two to three weeks, the treatment can be intensified and the cream used up to once a day. Cleanse the skin thoroughly and tone it before application. Apply a thin layer of skinexpert AHA Cream 5% and leave it on for approx. 30 minutes. Then apply your day cream or night cream. The AHA Cream is not a substitute for your normal skincare routine but is intended as a supplement. During treatment with AHA acids, it is important to protect your skin from the sun. We recommend a facial care product with high to very high UV protection. Once you have started using skinexpert AHA Cream 5%, the treatment can be intensified with skinexpert AHA Intensive Cream 10%. This can be used up to once a day for 1–3 months, preferably in the evening. If you have very sensitive skin, wash it off after 20–30 minutes. Then apply the appropriate night cream. skinexpert AHA Cream Intensive 10% may cause skin irritation and should only be used once the skin has become accustomed to AHA treatment.
Notes: Use only as directed by a qualified professional. Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact with the eyes: Rinse gently with water for several minutes. Remove any contact lenses if possible. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a doctor. It is recommended that areas to which AHAs have been applied be protected with a sunscreen offering high to very high protection before exposure to the sun. Skin contact with the product must be limited in frequency or duration, as described in the instructions for use.
