Locobase Protect – gentle skincare for the whole family

The formulation of Locobase Protect combines the properties of a cream and an ointment: it has both a high water content and a particularly high lipid content. This allows it to form a protective lipid barrier whilst still allowing the skin to breathe and preventing the loss of the skin’s natural moisture. Locobase Protect is recommended for very sensitive and dry skin, and as a complementary treatment for atopic skin.

Furthermore, Locobase Protect is not only free from colourants and perfume, but also supports the skin’s natural acid mantle with a pH value of 4.0.

Directions for use

• Apply the cream evenly all over the body, including the face. Use Locobase Protect as required, even several times a day.
• Tip: When there are significant fluctuations in humidity and temperature, the skin tends to become drier than usual. To keep your skin soft and supple, you should apply the cream thoroughly to all dry areas of your body. Hands, elbows, knees and feet are among the areas most at risk. It is particularly important to apply the cream when it is cold outside. Apply Locobase Protect to exposed areas of skin about 10 minutes before going out into the cold. This will protect your skin from both dehydration and frostbite.

Ingredients

• Composition: Vaseline, water, liquid paraffin, cetyl stearyl alcohol, Ceteareth-20, methylparaben, citric acid, sodium citrate.
• Locobase Protect is a water-based cream containing 70% fat.
