What is collagen?

• Collagen is the most important protein in our body in terms of quantity. It makes up over 30 % of all proteins in the body and plays a central role in our health. Collagen is an essential component of connective and supporting tissue and is found in the skin as well as in bones, cartilage and tendons.
• Unfortunately, the body's own collagen synthesis decreases with age. A visible sign of this are the wrinkles that appear on the face. The rose hip juice concentrate forms the plant basis of the food supplement and is made from ripe rose hips, which are the ripe red fruits of the dog rose (Rosa canina L.). Vitamin C and the trace element selenium help to protect the cells from oxidative stress.
