Life Light Basic FemmeWell Meno Formula Capsules is a dietary food for special medical purposes (supplementary balanced diet). Due to the composition and dosage of the ingredients, it is suitable for the dietary treatment of women during the menopause.
Physiological function of the nutrients
- Folic acid contributes to normal haematopoiesis, normal psychological function, normal function of the immune system and normal homocysteine metabolism. Folic acid has a function in cell division, contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, normal amino acid synthesis and to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy.
- Vitamin B1 contributes to normal heart function and normal energy metabolism.
- Vitamins B2, niacin, B6 and B12 contribute to the normal function of the nervous system and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Vitamins B6, folic acid and B12 contribute to normal homocysteine levels. Folic acid has a function in cell division, contributes to normal haematopoiesis and normal amino acid synthesis.
- Pantothenic acid contributes to normal mental performance and a reduction in tiredness and fatigue. In addition, pantothenic acid is important for normal synthesis and metabolism of steroid hormones, vitamin D and some neurotransmitters.
- Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting and the maintenance of normal bones.
- Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium, as well as to the maintenance of normal bones and muscle function.
- Magnesium contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth. The mineral has a function in cell division and contributes to normal energy metabolism plus normal function of the nervous system.
