Leukomed® skin sensitive is always the right choice for post-operative and traumatic wounds where the patient has fragile skin and requires particularly gentle care.
The sterile, bi-directionally elastic polyester non-woven fabric features a wound dressing suitable for wounds with light to moderate exudate. Patients particularly appreciate the soft surface and the painless removal of the dressing.
Leukomed® skin sensitive protects the skin and supports successful treatment. Leukomed® skin sensitive consists of a soft polyester non-woven fabric coated with a silicone layer. The wound pad is made of a viscose non-woven fabric coated with polypropylene.
Features
- Minimal skin damage or pain on removal: The product reduces pain and skin damage on removal, particularly when compared to acrylic-based adhesives.
- Radiopaque: The product is radiopaque and does not need to be removed for X-ray examinations or MRIs.
- Gentle on sensitive or damaged skin: Suitable for elderly patients with fragile skin, skin damaged by illness, medication or long-term treatments, as well as for young children.
- Breathable: Thanks to its air- and water-vapour-permeable properties, the skin can breathe.
- Absorbent: The wound pad is extremely absorbent and can manage low to moderate volumes of exudate.
- Does not stick to the wound: The special design of the wound pad prevents it from sticking to the wound, thereby preventing further damage.
